ErotiQueer BurlesQue is a queer burlesque Troupe in Austin, TX that creates burlesque productions with and for queer people of all identities. Their goal is to amplify Queer voices, and provide opportunities for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to express themselves creatively.
ErotiQueer BurlesQue is a very small queer-owned business specializing in burlesque productions.
The company was founded by Rebel Raspberry (Front-of-House Producer, Performer) and The Crowned Juul (Production Manager, Back-of-House Producer, Performer), who first met while attending theatre school. The team also includes Stage Manager Chandy Rose, Host Nico de Gallo, and Choreographer Rose Goldfish.
Each calendar year, the company produces three burlesque productions that make up its “season.” Every production within a season features a unique theme and title, combining troupe-choreographed ensemble numbers with solo acts inspired by the theme. These solo performances are presented by the co-producers, troupe members, and guest artists; on occasion, duets, trios, or other small group acts appear in these “solo” slots.
In addition to performances, the company highlights a local queer vendor at every production. In 2024, they collaborated with Maxine Pinx and Jul Tone, and in 2023, they partnered with Truffles 4 Transformation, Maridad Studios, and Kitty Titties.
