What the Funk?! is a POC Burlesque Tribute to Funk Music that was conceived as a show idea in early 2018 by Mx. Pucks A’Plenty. What the Funk?! is a Seattle-based burlesque festival celebrating Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) performers and culture, with a focus on the art of burlesque set to funk music. Conceived by founder and producer Mx. Pucks A’Plenty, the annual event features multiple nights of performances with casts from across the United States and internationally. The festival offers a vibrant celebration of diversity, creativity, and joy, combining funk music and dance with diverse artistic expression
