Signature Burlesque Act
In the Fall of 2019, Shay Au Lait debuted her neo-burlesque act “Devil is Fine” in Brooklyn, New York during “Not Therapy: Heal With Your Creature” by Creature Comforts. In this intense and powerful act, Shay Au Lait uses stillness and even physical restraints to draw the audience in until she both collapses and explodes in strip reveals and emotional expressions, as she exercises her demons in order to heal. Shay begins clothed in black cloak, corset, thigh high boots and gloves, ultimately revealing a nude panel skirt, nude lingerie and pasties.
