PROVOCATIVE, KINKY AND BDSM RENDEZVOUS IN DENVER, COLORADO
I am a Kinky Siren Switchress who lives the lifestyle 24/7 which means when I travel, I’m very curious about provocative and erotic experiences. This includes BDSM workshops, Fetish parties, Kink events, Strip clubs, Sex-positive boutiques, Nudist resorts, Dungeons and more. In additional to google being my best friend, I always head to FetLife to check out the local scene of wherever I’m traveling too. What follows is my list. You’ll note a few things.
- There are no Swingers Clubs on my list. I wouldn’t personally attend one but if you google it, there are a few. I’d rather go to a Sex Club or a Fetish Club that allows sex. Even more so, I’d prefer a private or invite-only experience where I attend as a guest with a local if I’m traveling.
- Many BDSM brands and groups didn’t make the list. The reasons vary. Either they didn’t come up readily in my search results. I’m not a word-of-mouth person. I google you and go down a rabbit hole. If you don’t have a website, I get annoyed. If you don’t have a clear “About You” page, I get annoyed. I should be able to find you with ease.
1. Colorado Center for Alternative Lifestyles

Alternative lifestyles include Polyamory, LGBTQIA+, and Kink. Upcoming events include Polyamorous Dinner and Discussions and an upcoming competitive storytelling and comedy event.
2. Denver Sanctuary – BDSM Social Club

- About: The Denver Sanctuary is a PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP Social Club for folks who practice or are interested in the BDSM Lifestyle. Between their numerous events spanning the spectrum and their clear instructions on how to participate if you’re visiting from out of town, this particular club definitely caught my eye. In addition to featuring local burlesque, comedy, and open mic events on their calendar, their recurrent events include things like HynoKink, Primal Play Parties, Erotic Blade and Edge Play, Human Dog Training, Bad Advice Panel, and Switch it Up (For folks who play both sides of the slash. I am a Switchress after all.) Three other fun events listed include:

3. Studio Friction – Denver’s Home For Rope and Aerial Art

- About: Studio Friction is, “a rope & aerial-centered, non-normative, welcoming environment for learning, exploration, practice, play, and performance. They seek to be a place to incubate the future of the art of kinbaku. Every month their programming includes so much variety that whenever you visit or even if you’re local, there’s probably something going on. Courses include a Rope Bondage series, Clothing Optional Yoga, and Tying and Flying which is on beginner self-suspension. Additional classes or experiences that appeal to me include:
- Tight Lines: a kink life drawing event. Attendees draw the human form in an array of kinky activities.
- The Knotty Show: Studio Friction’s newest comedy show is hosted by Chris Wellman. (His name and shows appear several times on this “Burlesque Adventure: Denver, Colorado” mini-series.) The Knotty show is part stand-up comedy show, part rope demonstration.
- Kinky Social Swing Dancing: a class on nonverbal communication. Role dynamics stay in flux as they swing both ways during this experience. It’s even noted that it’s “LGBTQI+ Friendly and Fun for the WHole Polycule.”
4. Rack Room – BDSM Social Club

- About: The R.A.C.K. (Risk-Aware Consensual Kink) Room is a private membership club for adults interested in BDSM, fetishism, shibari and other kink-related pursuits. Their venue for personal and professional projects, private rentals, photo, and video shoots, for classes, fundraising events, crafting meets, for skills sharing and discussion groups, and for sharing collective creativity in any number of media. While I didn’t see much on how I could attend events as an out-of-state visitor if you’re local this appears to be a wonderful club with some fun events. Stand out events include:
- Nerdgasm: a night of Kinky Trivia
- Hot Box Play Party: it’s a cannabis-friendly event
- Matriarchy: a Femdom & slave play party
- Dungeons and Dragons in Dungeons
- This particular social club stood out for how they spoke to CONSENT. After listing out how they “do” consent, the website states, “NOBODY IS EXEMPT FROM CONSENT RULES **If you have an issue with MsSaskia** or any staff or volunteers touching you without your consent or pushing boundaries in ways that do not relate to us addressing safety or security concerns with you, **CALL US OUT.”**
- “If you don’t feel we have heard or respected common boundaries or stated limits, ask another host or regular volunteer to help you sit down with the offending party and discuss the issue. If you still feel like your consent or safety was not respected, call us out publicly. Not everything will always be resolved to everyone’s satisfaction; however, we do commit to the ethic that nobody has a right to be pushy or invasive, coercive or grabby or to any other abusive, entitled behavior just because they own a venue or host events or are a big deal. If our behavior does not serve as an example, we cannot expect others to behave better.”
- “To mitigate possible confusion about roles and boundaries, bear in mind that dominants or tops have a right not to be touched, followed around or submitted at without consent.”

They also have Denver’s largest selection of high-quality, body-safe Trans-gender gear. I also love that they create Kink playlist on Spotify too. I’m always looking for inspiration for fun, for performance, for BDSM….for everything really!
6. La Boheme (LaBo to locals!) – Cabaret Strip Club

- About: La Boheme is a sexy cabaret stripclub feating service-industry nights and tongue-in-cheek, playfully-themed events. The venue actually looks like a vintage burlesque theater and that is what appeals to me. The aesthetic and a few of the dancers who tag the spot on Instagram such as Zoe Skye and Hailey Trew and Kay.
7. Mountain Air Ranch – Family Nudist Resort

- About: For 87 years, Mountain Air Ranch has been Colorado’s Family Nudist Resort. Members and guests can enjoy the fresh mountain air, the clear blue skies, and a landscape shared with deer, fox, birds, and other native wildlife. You can unwind while hiking the trails or while relaxing by the pool. Over 500 individuals and families have made Mountain Air Ranch their nudist home. Mountain Air Ranch is also a member of the American Association for Nude Recreation.
8. The Goddess Cult – FemDom Dungeon

I was especially delighted to learn that both Ashton and Cassie Robb are dancers there. Cassie is also is a pro fighter too.
14. Trade Nightclub – Gay Fetish Kink Bar

Though their venue contract was canceled for 2022, they continue to offer the best presenters, the largest play space, and the greatest staff anywhere. - 17. Leather Colorado Foundation – Produces contests for Mr. Leather Colorado, Mr. Colorado Rubber, Colorado Bootblack, Ms. Leather Colorado, and Miss Leather Colorado. The oldest of these contests, Mr. Leather Colorado, was first held in 1980 and is the second longest-running leather contest in the US, second only to International Mr. Leather.
- 18. CJ’s Leather – Established in 1993, they manufacture the finest quality leather clothing and accessories for retail and wholesale. Each piece is handmade from top-grade leather.
- 19. Diamond’s Cabaret – The Diamond Cabaret is the epitome of a gentlemen’s club with high-end drinks, higher-end dancers, and a staff that treats the crowd with respect.
- 20. Shot Gun Willie’s – Founded in 1982, Shotgun Willie’s is a woman-owned, premiere Gentleman’s strip club in the Denver Metro area.
